Laboratory Assistant - Quality Control - Biotech - GERMAN required!
Experis is currently supporting our globally-operating client within the biotech industry with their search for an experienced lab assistant with a background in Quality Control to support their operations at their manufacturing facility in the Solothurn region. Please note: German language requirements are required for this role. This contract role will run a minimum of 18 months.
Your role in this exciting project is to ensure the transfer of analytical samples from the existing laboratory to their new central laboratory. Samples include in-process samples, equipment validation and other samples.
The role has a myriad of responsibilities including:
- sample pick-up, movement, aliquidation and shipment
- washing, distribution and autoglaving of labware.
Your specific background:
- GERMAN and ENGLISH: you need both languages, not just one!
- Minimum of 5 years of comparable experience from within the Biotech/Pharma industry
- Prior experience working with Labware and Oracle systems
- Experience with electronic batch records and integrated sampling plans is highly desired
- University educated with a background in Microbiology or Chemistry
- Good aseptical working skills
- Ability to work with minimal oversight
- Good communicator: you deal with internal stakeholders and strong communication skills are an absolute must
- You must hold either a Swiss passport or have an already-existing Swiss work permit and be in-country (due to current visa restrictions)
