Embedded Software Engineer (f/m/d)

Embedded Software Engineer

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing hardware-related software in C with a focus on sensor systems. You will also be involved in the creation of software architecture and the design of single and multi-microcontroller systems, as well as co-development of the test environment for the highest possible level of test automation. You will participate in peer reviews and collaborate with external software partners, as well as interface between different internal disciplines such as computer vision, mechanics, and production. You will be expected to document software and concepts.

The ideal candidate for this position has:

• College or university degree in computer science or equivalent
• Several years of professional experience as a software engineer
• Very good knowledge of C
• Experience with real-time and event-controlled systems
• Knowledge in the field of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) or electronics is an advantage
• Excellent communication skills in both German and English, both spoken and written
