Experis is the global leader in professional resourcing and project-based workforce solutions. We are looking for a Database Administrator for our customer , a trading company in Geneva.

Mission :

• Assist in the installation, configuration, and upgrading of SQL Server software and related products,
• Monitor and maintain database performance, ensuring high availability and data integrity,
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues,
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize database design and queries,
• Assist in the implementation of database security measures and access controls,
• Educate developers and business on database best practices,
• Perform regular backup and recovery operations,
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of database documentation, including data dictionaries and standard operating procedures,
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in database administration.

Profile :

• IT Degree,
• Basic understanding of database security principles
• Scripting (SQL, PowerShell, .NET, C#, …),
• Database modelling skills,
• Knowledge of Windows Server 2016 to 2022,
• Knowledge of Microsoft BI tools (Reporting Services, PowerBI)
• Usage of AI tools and Gitlab,
• Familiarity with SQL Server Management Studio and other database administration tools,

• Able to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize them based on urgency and importance,
• Adapt to changing circumstances, and maintain a positive attitude,
• Problem-solving skills, attention to detail,.
• Good communication skills,
• Fluent English and French.
