Overview of contract

On behalf of our client, a financial services company in Switzerland, we are looking for a Cloud Engineer.

Location: Zürich

Start date: ASAP

End date: 11.09.2024

Main responsibilities

• Collaborate in the definition and design of Google Cloud landing zone
• Be involved on advising the customers on cloud best practices, giving them support during application design and deployment
• Implementation and maintenance of terraform blueprints
• Collaborate in training and evangelization content creation activities
• Create proper documentation in Confluence
• Solve incidents raised in Service Desk (no 24x7 needed)

Your skills:

• Hands on experience at enterprise-level with public cloud services, focusing on PaaS and laaS on Google Cloud. Microsoft Azure is an advantage.
• Deep knowledge of cloud core services (networking, security, storage and IAM) and PaaS services, their operation and configuration options and Blueprint creation.
• Hands on experience with Terraform code (Infrastructure as a Code) and pipelines deployments.
• Python, PowerShell or any scripting language knowledge an advantage.
• Fluent in English, German or Spanish is an advantage.
