On behalf of our client, a pharmaceutical company in Switzerland, we are looking for a BUYER with 2+ years of experience.
Location: Zurich - Oerlikon (50% remote work)
Contract duration: 01/11/2022 to 30/04/2023
Workload: 100%
Description:
Purchase materials according to required technical specification, price, delivery schedule and terms. Ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures. Identifies new suppliers in cooperation with relevant category team. Qualifies new suppliers in cooperation with Supplier Quality and Engineering specialists.
Your tasks:
- Creation of inquiries and purchase orders
- Follow-up of order confirmation
- Checking invoices
- Ensuring receipt of goods
- Handling appointment requests (for troubleshooting and customer orders)
- Monitoring deadlines
- Master data maintenance
- Shipping preparation for provided parts at home and abroad
- Support of strategic purchasing
You bring:
- 2+ years commercial experience as Buyer (ideally in big, international companies)- You are fluent in English (German - nice to have
- You have negotiating skills, the ability to manage a budget
- IT skills (Excel)
- You are a team player
- Junior profiles who are Fluent in German are also taken in consideration.
