Project Manager - Business Process Simplification

On behalf of our client, a leading and well known Swiss financial institution in Zürich, we are looking for a Project Manager - Business Process #Simplification (Business Process #Reengineer).

Contract: 6 months - extension is possible

Location: Zurich

Responsibilities:

  • Define and document high level target design and business outcome. Conduct E2E assessment to ensure all impacted functions and processes are properly considered in the project
  • Surface core-to identify & implement opportunities to redesign, simplify and improve process efficiency and effectiveness (cost, reliability, agility) within the designated People Process

(e.g., Recruitment, Advisory model, Compensation, People development)

  • Develop and build an objective picture of how the People organization delivers, what they deliver, and the end-to-end view of how it is orchestrated with proper identification of hand-offs and process connectors to inform process redesign
  • Evaluate current state, impact to change and end-to-end target state visualization from requirements to implementation
  • and post adoption monitoring and testing
  • Deliver on E2E process maturity improvements aligned to employee experience, service blueprints and cost optimization
  • Develop and document new process (service) blueprints where needed
  • Prepare presentations and process overview utilizing models and complementary data to assist the team in process re-engineering activities
  • Consolidate impacts to metrics and evaluate testing strategies for tech implementation and process changes with appropriate implementations of controls and monitoring methodologies
  • Review and assess policies and business processes to find areas of improvement and recommend solutions to optimize the efficiency of such process
  • Support the team's short - and - long term strategy through process engineering methodologies and developing a robust support framework and process culture
  • Perform GAP analysis and build and maintain process maps for both documenting and analyzing current state / target state People Processes
  • Support in definition of roll-out plans considering change management throughout the process
  • Provides expertise for proactive identification of opportunities from a process efficiency perspective

Essentials Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven track record, 8+ years' experience in related roles or functions (e.g., business consulting, business operations, product management in a large and complex customer/ employee-focused organization
  • At least 8+ years of Process (Re)design experience offering deep knowledge of Business Process re-engineering (BPR) and Process Excellence concepts and supporting tools
  • Demonstrated applied knowledge and experience with a range of process re-engineering methods and tools, e.g., service employee journey mapping, service blueprints, value stream mapping, process mapping, concept prioritization future state process maps, roadmaps / storyboards, prototypes, scenario storytelling and experience transformation governance
  • Strong competence and ability to identify & deliver on E2E process maturity improvements aligned to service blueprints, value stream mapping and process simplification
  • Understanding of process modelling standards and process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, value stream mapping, BPMN, service blueprint)
  • Practiced in lean, agile and user-centered design processes and ways of working, and thrives in cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams
  • Strong presentation development skills including the ability to distil many data points and processes into concise summaries with detailed illustrations and examples
  • Able to work across a wide variety of stakeholders and interacting with subject matter experts and executives
