Overview of contract
On behalf of our client, a large bank in Switzerland, we are looking for an Application Support Engineer.
Location: Zürich
Start date: 01.09.2024
End date: 31.08.2025
Main responsibilities
- Act as application expert to our Securities Lending and Borrowing team
- "Run the bank": Assure system availability, handling of RtB issues and release management
- Support our business colleagues on their daily work and run investigations
- Raise recommendations on system and process improvements
- As a member of our agile organization participate in the daily routines and ceremonies
- As an employee of Markets IT you act as local gateway to our Central IT department and to the vendor
Your skills:
- 3-5 years practical hands on as IT Engineer, Support Engineer and/or IT Administrator with "FIS Securities Finance Trading and Collateral Platform" (formerly Apex Collateral Management / Finace) is a MUST
- Basic developer skills in Databases & SQL, Unix & Scripting, Java is a plus
- Experience as DevOps Engineer and CI/CD
- Basics in Agile/SAFe methodology
- Excellent communication skills in English, German is a plus.
