Overview of contract
On behalf of our client, an IT Consultancy company in Zürich, we are looking for an Application Manager.
Location: Zürich, Altstetten - 50% remote within Switzerland
Start date: ASAP
Duration: Long-term commitment with the possibility of internalization (earliest after 12 months) if suitable
Main responsibilities
- Application management, including operation and maintenance, SLA management, problem, release/test, and risk management, and documentation.
- Introduction of product enhancements.
- Project collaboration, including migrations and adjustments.
- No personnel management or budget responsibility.
Your skills:
- Strong IT skills in Linux, Windows, and Oracle SQL-DB.
- Bank experience, preferably with Java development experience.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new topics/areas.
- Experience with integrated business applications, including incident management.
- Familiarity with various database systems, especially Oracle.
- Familiarity with incident/change/release management processes in large service-oriented companies (preferably in the finance/insurance sector).
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English.
