Overview of contract

  • On behalf of our client, a leading financial institution in Zürich, we are looking for a Communications Specialist within the Group Internal Communications & Corporate Functions team who provide hands-on content, campaign and publishing support across all corporate functions

This is a highly interactive role and an excellent opportunity for someone with 1-3 years experience who has the ambition to grow to a senior communications role

Main responsibilities

  • Communications specialist to act as interface between the Corporate Functions, the Communications Business Partners for the Corporate Functions and the Publishing & Channel Management teams, i.e. review emails and articles, send to the publishers to have the content created in our online channels, run approval process
  • Close collaboration with internal, external, financial communications colleagues within the broader Communications department, to ensure alignment of messaging
  • Support the head of Group Internal Communications with daily tasks, incl. text editing, translation orders, language checks
  • Advise on and edit proposed content, select channels, prepare appropriate formats and ensure stakeholders are notified of all content being distributed ahead of time
  • Assess and monitor communications effectiveness through analytics and metrics
  • An opportunity to develop editorial writing and editing skills for various channels

Your skills:

  • Minimum 1-3 years of corporate communications experience, with proven editorial communications skills.
  • Experience with digital and online communication channels, proven ability to bring forward creative content solutions, then turning these into concrete actions
  • Sensitive to multiple stakeholders in a decentralized, matrixed organization and confident in dealing with senior individuals
  • Excellent project management skills and proven ability to summarize complex concepts and translate ideas into compelling messages
  • Fluent in English
