Overview of contract

On behalf of our client, a large bank in Switzerland, we are looking for a Test Automation Engineer.

Location: Zürich
Start date: 01.06.2024
End date: TBD

Main responsibilities

• Test case design to ensure proper coverage of requirements.
• Manual execution as well as automating relevant tests using Cucumber/Selenium or RESTAssured on UI or API level
• Organization of test execution files and test plans
• Create or organize required Test data
• Maintain (add, remove, update) regression test cases
• Execute and document the execution of tests in an audit proved manner
• Continuous improvement of testing within ART project in line with the BJB Test Strategy and the ART test concept, aligned with the Domain Test Manager

Your skills:

• Higher education in computer science /Business Informatics or similar.
• Proven track record in testing and test automation.
• Understanding the test process E2E (from development to UAT)
• Basic Banking knowhow is a must. Knowledge in Order Management and CRM solutions are a strong plus.
• Extensive experience in using Cucumber and Selenium framework in Java (taking part in implementation of such Frameworks is a plus)
• Basic Jira knowledge. XRAY knowledge is a strong plus.
• Oracle DB. Experience with SQL. Self-guided exploration of database to find relevant data
• Webservice testing
• Rest API Testing (using RESTAssured)
• Java knowledge for Test Automation
• Basic Linux bash skills
• Experience as Software Engineer is a strong plus.
• Strong communication skills (fluent in English, German is a plus)
