On behalf of our client, a leading financial services institution, we are looking for a #Technical Architect (Analyst).
Location: Remote in Europe
Start date: ASAP & negotiation is possible
Duration: 6 months - with possibility of extension
Main responsibilities
For this project, our client is looking for a technical architect who will work together with other technical experts, design and develop the HA / network redundancy concept and the connected client's entities. You will lead and execute the end-to-end solution design (architecture) and implementation.
Lead the solution design phase: You must take part in the cross-team architecture grooming for finalizing solution design. Come up with the potential solutions and choose the solution that fits best the needs. You will also work together with the client's enterprise architecture team to ensure the solution design meets the client's architecture and security guidelines.
Be part of the implementation: You must lead the implementation of the solution design until it is successfully tested. You will be working along-side other architects, engineers and developers at different layers of the infrastructure team. Therefore, commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential.
Functional experience: Experience in core and client connectivity
- Experience in leading architecture and security reviews for a solution design
- Experience in design of resilient high-available networks.
- Know-how and experience in Connectivity: MPLS, ISP, Microsoft ExpressRoute, AWS DirectConnect. Routing: Cisco, SD-WAN Aruba. Firewalls: Palo Alto, Juniper, Cisco, Aruba. Reverse Proxies: KEMP, Zscaler. Wifi: Cisco o Others: VMWare, Azure, AWS Understand the importance of HA / network redundancy - the need for business continuity in case of interrupted connectivity Develop an understanding of requirements and translate it into comprehensive solution design
- Self-sufficient in planning, designing and executing the solution
- Anticipates barriers and plans alternatives Ensures timely execution of all the planned tasks and aim for defect free solution
- Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Is persistent in achieving progress despite obstacles and short-term setbacks
