On behalf of our client, an IT company in Zürich, we are looking for a Surface Specialist.
Location: Zurich / home-office
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 18 months
Function Scope: The Surface Devices Sales Specialist will play a crucial role in driving sales and engagement with Enterprise teams and the Surface v-team. The primary focus will be on building and nurturing relationships with key accounts, creating targeted engagement plans, and promoting the value proposition of Surface Devices and Surface Hub within the designated territory.
Primary Responsibilities:
Pipeline Development:
- Target and build a robust pipeline by identifying and prioritizing potential target customers for Surface positioning.
- Develop outreach plans (email/phone/direct relationship) to present the Surface value proposition in conjunction with M365.
Account Engagement:
- Build a target list of accounts with potential for a Refresh Your Devices sales motion.
- Take accountability for activities and sales targets within managed accounts.
- Create and execute engagement plans for targeted accounts, emphasizing Surface Devices and Surface Hub.
Storytelling and Co-Sell Strategies:
- Tell the Modern Work + Surface story to increase account penetration.
- Utilize Microsoft tools to drive Surface co-sell on renewal conversations and identify co-sell opportunities.
- Coach internal account teams on effective co-sell strategies with M365.
Business Development:
- Drive business development through email, phone, and in-person meetings.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills to promote Surface devices effectively.
- Leverage knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem for efficient and productive task execution.
Collaboration and Alignment:
- Develop a business plan in collaboration with internal account teams at partners.
- Build the Surface approach and pipeline with partner internal account teams to scale and align on customer messaging.
- Act as a business advisor and evangelize internal teams on the Surface value proposition.
Essential Skills:
- 1-3 years of sales experience.
- Excellent communication skills in English and German; proficiency in French is a significant advantage.
- Minimum 1 year of customer acquisition experience.
- Flexibility for remote work.
- Strong team player and self-motivator.
