Supply Chain Planner


Experis IT Switzerland is in a search of a Supply Chain Planner to join one of their clients, a well renowned firm. Due to business expansion, they are seeking a talented candidate to join their existing team. For this temporary project based in Baar (Zug), we are in search of an English speaking candidate who is available to start in September 2022.

Location: Baar
Start Date: 12.09.2022
Duration: 12 months with further option of contract extension



You will:

  • be responsible for the planning and coordination of commercial Finished Goods (FG), Drug Product (DP) Drug Substance (DS)
  • develop supply and inventory plans based on dependent Finished Goods demand, inventory targets and CMC/Regulatory activities.
  • work closely with key stakeholders (e.g. Product Lifecycle Management, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory)
  • identifyy and communicate any supply risks to management and recommends and implements corrective actions to maintain inventory targets and minimize supply risks
  • support demand and supply activities for new product launches and supply chain projects
  • support cross functional projects focused on process and systems improvement



You bring:

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or similar education required
  • Minimum 4 years working experience in a Demand & Supply Planning role with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position in, the Biotech/Pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience within an international and controlled environment is required
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills (excellent written and verbal communicator with the ability to articulate recommendations and key decision points to senior management)
  • Demonstrated experience reducing complex subjects to key points. Ability to work in fast paced environments and great organizational skills to effectively balance a broad range of projects and tasks in parallel
  • Exceptional team player (ability to direct and participate in cross functional and management teams)
  • Experience with MRP Demand and Supply Planning is a must
  • Experience with Supply Chain and Manufacturing planning tools, preferably:
  • Oracle, Hyperion, Business Object, TrackWise,
  • SAP, APO, Manugistics, JDE
  • Project Management experience and ability to work in cross-functional teams
  • APICS certification (or equivalent) preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma/Green Belt is an asset
