Overview of contract

On behalf of our client, a large bank in Switzerland, we are looking for a Tosca Test Architect.

Location: Zürich
Start date: 02.08.2024
End date: 31.12.2025

Main responsibilities

• Lead the test automation specialists by using an agile (scrum) approach
• Requirements: risk-weighting, follow contribution approach
• Test case creation: using libraries, RTSBs, conditions, etc.
• Test case design: separate test data input and logic from the test case flow
• Test execution: integrate test execution into CI process, with DEX
• Test data: Use Tosca TDS and integrate with test cases
• API: Where possible use automation through API, especially for interface tests
• Report to test stream lead, challenge decisions and come up with ideas
• Create and execute automated test cases in Tosca
• Assist in root cause analysis of bugs found and reporting them
• Maintain/update test cases in case of changes
• Follow risk-based approach when automating
• Utilize Tosca Test Case design and Reusable Test Step Blocks
• Work with Test Events, Execution Lists and integration to Jenkins or other CI tools
• Integrate Tosca TDS for test data management with test cases
• Document the results according to the projects test strategy

Your skills:

• Demonstrated experience in automated testing with Tosca, SAP automation is a plus
• Ability to lead automation team as scrum master
• Develop good understanding of customer's manual and automated testing needs
• Maintain hands-on involvement in test execution, test automation and risk coverage analysis
• Ability to document defects and track them to resolution using defect management tool JIRA · Familiarity with API testing Tosca Test Automation Specialist
• Scrum master or similar certification is an advantage
• Additional courses in SAP automation (e.g. Getting started with SAP testing, Deep dive - Automating SAP test cases, or other SAP-specific trainings) are a plus.
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
