Senior IT Business Analyst - Azure migration (banking)

Our client, a globally renowned Information Technology organization, seeks a Lead Business Analyst with a background in Azure Cloud Migrations. This role is pivotal in driving the migration of systems and applications to the Azure Cloud platform, ensuring that the process aligns with industry standards and meets the strategic goals of the organization. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, analytical skills, and effective communication abilities to facilitate a smooth and efficient cloud migration process.

Location: Geneva

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 12 months, chance of extension

Language: English fluent, French minimum B2+

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct analysis of current systems and applications and propose solutions to migrate them to Azure Cloud.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document requirements for the migration project.
• Collaborate with technical teams for system configuration and integration required for migration.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Communicate project status and progress to project managers and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Experience in the financial services sector
• Must have experience in Azure Cloud Migration or similar cloud technology projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have:

• Ideally IREB certified
• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) for those working in Agile environments
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) certifications
• Requirements Engineering (CPRE)
• UML - Unified modelling language
