Overview of contract

On behalf of our client, a large bank in Switzerland, we are looking for a Data Engineer.

Location: Zürich

Start date: 14.04.2024

End date: TBD

Main responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data framework that makes the data accessible and ready for further use
• Gathering business requirements, design and implement solutions based on Oracle / Informatica Powercenter
• Design, develop, test, and document new / changes to integration and reporting applications
• Translate business requirements into data and engineering specifications
• Perform 2nd & 3rd level support for applications under responsibility

Your skills:

• Expert SQL skills, preferably in large enterprise environments
• Banking experience gained with complex ER models
• Very good experience in integration and reporting applications
• Good experience in meta-data driven applications and generic data models
• Data preparation for reporting/analytics and visualization tools (e.g Tableau, Power BI)
• Very good experience with ETL tool PowerCenter by Informatica
• Very good experience with Oracle (or similar RDBMS)
• 5-10 years general experience with Data Architecture / Data Engineering
