3. Purpose of the position
The purpose of the job is to manage Quality IT, Process and data systems by providing global application support from business side to achieve the quality and compliance goals of ANHnewco.
To ensure and further develop efficient and effective Quality Management Systems with regards to continuous improvement, internal control and operational excellence.
* The aim is to ensure that the organization maximizes the return from their Quality IT solutions through support and continuous improvements that drive product compliance.
* Support and maintain quality data systems throughout the organization while keeping close contact with the key users to understand and identify their quality, business requirements and support needs.
* Support and maintains IT Systems throughout at applicable sites globally to achieve alignment and to provide global vision for way of working between the sites.
* Acts as a liaison between Business Key Users and IT.
4. Position context
The Lead Specialist, Quality IT System - ANH works for the Quality IT Systems Department.
The relevant systems for this position are the systems which are in the scope of the Quality IT Systems team.
The following systems are part of the Lab IT/data environment:
* Laboratory Information Management Systems (LabWare)
* Chromatography Data System (e.g. Chromeleon)
* Further systems for analytical instrument control (e.g. TIAMO, LAB-X) and related system interfaces (e.g. SAP)
* Compliance, quality and document Management Systems (TrackWise, EDM etc.)
* Reporting tools (Power Bi, MS Project/Planner, Jira/Confluence)
The working environment includes the global quality departments across Animal Nutrition, Human Nutrition and manufacturing sites, (quality assurance and quality control) with all the different local sites and the IT department.
The Lead Specialist, Quality IT System - ANH plays an essential role in gathering the relevant quality data and analyzing and compiling them in the official company Quality Reports.
Those reports will be used for key decisions and serve continuous improvement. This position requires frequent interaction with production sites.
5. Position content
Key areas of accountability/responsibility
Lab Systems:
1. Support technical realization of Quality/IT projects within the chosen sites according to dsm-firmenich guidelines which includes analysis, development and implementation of systems and process improvements, with primary focus on lab-based applications.
2. Responsible for the day-to-day support, including Master Data Management.
3. Application Management according Computer System Validation (CSV) Guidelines and management directives.
4. Ensure a consistent understanding of the user requirements and project goals for all project stakeholders.
5. Provides business support to the system while acting as a liaison between the business and the IT global departments.
6. Works with site Key Users and Business Application Owners to answer questions and resolve incidents. Manages, coordinates and responsible for 2nd level support and escalates issues to the 3rd level support (Vendor).
7. Implementation of software design specification, development, testing according to CSV Guidelines.
8. The Lead Specialist, as needed, should be capable of creating various SOPs, Policies, templates, assessments, plans, requirement specifications, test protocols, reports etc.
9. Support business units with specific knowhow in quality and laboratory systems and processes.
10. Performs system updates to ensure the potential benefits of the system are realized.
11. Monthly Reporting.
12. Support activities within the Ornellaia project.

7. Complexity of the position
1. Applicant possesses a business background, preferably with an international orientation, combined with a broad knowledge in the Quality IT Systems domain and specific technical knowledge within the supported systems.
2. Assists and advises users in multiple systems at multiple sites.
3. Understanding of quality and compliance requirements.
4. Understands Computer System Validation and the additional controls that are required to safeguard the ongoing compliance, validation of a system.
5. Gathering and analyzing global relevant quality key performance indicators for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
8. Knowledge and educational level
* Bachelor's Degree, ideally in the field of Business Administration and / or Information Management or 3 years' experience in a related field is preferred.
* High level of conceptual and analytical thinking.
* Broad functional knowledge of available Quality IT solutions.
* Broad CSV understanding.
* Consultancy skills; including Information/Requirement analysis, technical writing and good testing procedures.
* Fluent in English; excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Capable of working in an international multi-cultural network on a local, regional and global basis.
* Strong communicator who can engage with all levels in the organization as well as other organizations such as site QC/QA members, IT or vendors.
* Soft & social skills: flexibility, reliability, sense of responsibility, proactive, result- oriented.
* Extensive communication skills and should be willing to work independently and in a team.
* Preferably functional experience; including the associated implementation skills with SAP, TrackWise, Documentum.
* Ability to train team members in IT Systems etc.
9. Required level of experiences
Minimum 3 years' experience in a related field is preferred.
Experience of problem solving and decision making for quality systems (e. g. LIMS, Chromeleon, TrackWise, Documentum).
Proficiency in usage of applicable business software with the ability to develop spreadsheets, reports and databases.
