IT Application Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead configuration, customization, and continuous enhancement of the PDM/PLM platform
• Drive end‑to‑end rollout projects, system upgrades, and integration of new modules.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders (engineering, IT infrastructure, quality assurance, ERP, CNC/CAM) to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Own ECR/ECO processes: set up workflows, enforce version control, and ensure audit readiness.
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate third‑party consultants for specialized developments.
• Develop and maintain technical specifications, user guides, and training materials.
• Provide Tier‑1 and Tier‑2 support, troubleshooting complex issues, and delivering user training sessions.
• Monitor system performance, data integrity, and compliance with IT security and data governance policies.

Profile

• Technical or vocational degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing technology, or IT; additional computer science qualifications are a plus.
• 3-5 years of hands‑on experience with PDM/PLM systems (Teamcenter experience highly preferred).
• Practical knowledge of ERP systems (SAP) and CNC/CAM workflows.
• Solid understanding of product release management, change control, and lifecycle governance.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with an ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills in German (fluent) and English (professional).
