Experis IT Switzerland is in a search of a 5 years experience Test Engineer with Fluent German to join one of their clients, a well renowned company. Due to business expansion, they are seeking a talented professional to join their existing team.

About the project:

• Instruction and active participation of a test team totalling approx. 2.5-3.5 FTEs
• Alignment and coordination of 3-4 customer development teams who commission this test team
• Integration of other test team members provided by the customer

Tasks:

• Analysis of requirements and specification for automated and manual test cases
• Managing the test cases and ensuring that the requirements are adequately covered
• Execution of test cases and detection of deviations (e.g. defects)
• Evaluation and documentation of the test results
• Review and analysis of system and software specifications
• Execution of test cases (manually or automatically) and analysis of results
• Generation of test reports to document test levels and defects
• Reporting defects and bugs to development teams
• Help with troubleshooting
• Collaborate with development teams to develop and test effective strategies
• Definition and collection of test metrics
• Management of the test cases and their prioritization
• Automated and manual testing
• Testing further use cases in interaction with other systems

You bring:

• University degree or comparable training
• Proven experience in testing - 4 years
• Experience in tools like JIRA XRAY, Splunk, Grafana, IntelliJ, Git
• Proven experience in test automation and scripting (ideally Cucumber)
• Practical experience in the programming language Java
• Solid experience in test management and test methodology
• Familiarity with agile practices and framework
• Ability to document errors and coordinate resolution
• Attention to detail and quality awareness
• Analytical thinking and problem solving skills
• Independent and proactive work
• Very strong team skills
• You are fluent in English and German
