On behalf of our client, a renowned global pharmaceutical company, we are looking for a Senior Buyer, who is eager to join an international and dynamic team in Solothurn.

Workload: 100%

Start date: ASAP

Duration: January - June 2020

Location:Solothurn area

Languages: Fluency in English.

Responsibilities:

• Purchasing of goods, materials and other components or services in line with cost, quality and delivery targets
• Ensuring continuous flow of supply chain process
• Monitoring of market trends, competitor strategies and market suppliers
• Cost reduction & research
• Delivering of briefs, updates and reports
• Development of creative and innovative procurement processes
• Improvement of business strategy and operational efficiency
• Contract negotiation

Qualifications:

• Degree in a relevant field
• 4-5 + years of experience
• Procurement background in the pharmaceutical industry
