Overview of contract
On behalf of our client, a leading financial services institution in Zürich, we are looking for an Application Manager to support the financial crime detection, encryption and compliance teams.
You will manage logs, control the system, update certificates, deal with daily incident management, deal with app testing, maintenance, inputs and testing activities.
This is a 7-month contract based in Zurich and will have a longer term / permanent placement option for the right candidate.
Main responsibilities
- Installing, testing and maintaining various applications mainly on Linux, Openshift and Microsoft environment
- Monitoring and managing various installed systems and infrastructure
- Timely reporting on the confluence for the rapid response to any glitches, Incident and release Management
- Understand different complex IT-Components such as Crime Compliance, Security- and Routing- Components
- Establish, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
- Working proactively and independently, delving into details, supporting and helping the team are the key feature of the this position
- Coordination with BA and Business for requirement gathering/understanding/clarification
- Deployment of changes in test and production system
Your skills:
- Experience in maintaining financial applications of high quality in the areas of communication, messaging and security for our business units.
- Able to work in an agile, self-organized environment where collaboration, trust, and innovation are paramount.
