On behalf of our client, a leading financial institution in Zürich, we are looking for a Senior Test Engineer Tester with proven banking industry experience, ideally in Tax area.
Main responsibilities:
- Analysing users stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility
- Develop test cases and prioritize testing activities
- Collaborate closely with other team members and departments
- Execute all the test case and report defects, define severity and priority for each defect
Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration and Regression)
- Design and develop automation scripts when needed
- Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies
- Provide timely solutions
- Apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle
- Provide support and documentation
Skills:
- Over 5 years of relevant test engineering experience
- ISTQB certification "Certified Tester" Foundation or Advanced level
- Proven record in test design and test execution of user acceptance tests
- Experience in banking industry: well understanding of financial instruments, good knowledge of securities, single accounts, FX and forward contract transactions processing incl. corporate actions
- Practical experience with Quality Center or comparable tools
- Excellent organization / coordination skills
- Banking industry experience, ideally US Withholding Tax
- Good communication skills
- Experience in using tools like JIRA, Polarion, Enterprise Architect 9.x
- Analytical thinking, well-structured/organized, autonomous, propulsive, proactive, flexible, able to work under pressure, communicative, insistent, responsibly, persistent
