On behalf of our client, a large ICT company in Zurich, we are looking for a Storage Solution Pre-Sales Manager.
Your mission
As a Storage Solution Pre-Sales Manager you are responsible to support the sales team in the Swiss enterprise market and deliver customer-driven and technical solutions incorporating products and services to their customers. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of storage technology/related solutions and strong presales skills.
Your Tasks
- Collaborate with key account managers and channel sales managers to develop storage opportunities in the Swiss market to achieve assigned sales target and objectives
- Communicate and introduce enterprise storage products and solutions to the customer's technical team
- Provide technical solutions to customers and partners on specific areas of storage, storage-based solutions, data center facilities, etc.
- Participating in RFx responses, tenders, presentations, consultations and commercial proposals by providing product information, value argumentation, bill of materials and tender solution designs
- Plan and support market branding actions and offer industry presentations
Your Profile
- 3+ years of pre-sales experience working with storage, server, cloud, data center facilities, etc.
- Bachelor degree or above in Communication, Computer Science or Engineering, highly desired
- Strong knowledge about storage/backup, data center infrastructure
- Storage Experience with mainstream vendor experience (EMC/NetApp/BM/HP/DELL) or a strong storage integrator/distributor
- Experienced IT project manager in designing, managing and implementation of system integration
- Strong presales skills, including organizational, communication and presentation skills
- Fluency in German and English are a must, French preferred
