C++ Software Engineer (Medical Devices)

Our client is a rapidly growing, cutting-edge medical device company. To support this growth they are looking for a skilled software developer with experience in medical image processing. This is an entirely new role, based in their Swiss Headquarters in Lausanne.

Your responsibilities:

• Image processing and algorithms programming in medical devices
• Object-oriented design and programming
• Complete software development environment, embedded software know-how (version control, tool chains, documentation tools)
• Excellent programming abilities in C++ & solid mathematical abilities
• Project Management
• Hardware-accelerated algorithm programming is advantageous
• Qt/Qt 3D
• SQL

Your profile:

• Higher education (HES, EPF, Technical university)
• 2-5 years experience in C++ and Qt projects
• Knowledge of distributed version control systems
• UML
• Experience with VTK/ITK is advantageous
• Test-driven programming is advantageous
• Autonomous, problem solving attitude
• Strong communication skills in English and good French
