Overview of contract
On behalf of our client, a leading financial institution in Zürich, we are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with programming skills to join a challenging project that will enhance an application supporting Relationship Managers.
Main responsibilities
- Design and implementation of DevOps tech stack with particular focus on architecture, scalability, stability, automated testing
- Interaction with an international team of developers, architects, quantitative investment professionals
- Exposure to cutting-edge technologies and approaches for portfolio construction, trade recommendation, asset allocation
Your skills:
- At least 7+ years of experience and knowledge of cloud & containerization DevOps tech stack, in particular Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift (+4 years), Jenkins cloud & containerization technologies
- +3 years of experience with Linux environments and shell scripting
- +3 years of experience in highly performant mission critical server side applications
- +3 years of experience in applications using microservices architectures
- +5 years of Experience as a developer in at least one programming language, preferably in Python or Java
- Experience in designing and implementing APIs using technologies such as OpenAPI and REST
- Experience in messaging frameworks (Apache Kafka, Apache ActiveMQ)
- Previous experience as a DevOps or developer in finance or computationally intense computing, e.g. banking, trading, asset management, risk management, insurance
- Good Team Player
- Previous experience with Agile methodologies
