On behalf of our client, a leading Swiss luxury brand, we are looking for an experienced Application Engineer. For this perm position in Geneva, our client is looking for an English- and French-speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. Are you a passionate Developer with an understanding of solution architecture and demonstrated skills in project management, who is looking for a new and exciting challenge? What you can expect:
- Analyze the needs of the businesses and propose technical solutions
- Participate in developments
- Follow, support and validate the developments made by external teams
- Assist the project managers
- Maintain the existing solutions
What they expect from you:
- University degree in computer science or equivalent
- Proven experience of more than 6 years in the field of software development
- Skills in WEB/JAVA development
- Good knowledge of AngularJS, Spring, Hibernate frameworks
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (mongoDB would be an asset)
- Understanding of solution architecture (service oriented architectures, microservices, cloud services...)
- Demonstrated skills in project management (agile methods)
- Team spirit, good interpersonal skills
- Fluency in French and English
