Operations Specialist (Securities) - Financial ACCT

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibility for an efficient, accurate and timely management of Structured Product and other fees

- Calculation, Claiming and Distribution

- Daily Reconciliation of internal suspense accounts including investigation and resolving of deviations

- Ensure an efficient and accurate handling of incoming and outgoing fees

- Responsibility to comply with VAT and financial accounting requirements

Act as professional partner for all internal & external stakeholders and provide services in a high quality

- Liaison officer between Issuer, Sales, Trading, Product Control, Financial Accounting etc.

- Production of periodical reports for various stakeholders (Sales & Trading Services, Financial Accounting, Product Control, Divisional Finance, etc.)

- Ad Hoc support for internal stakeholders in relation to any Fee Processing / Reporting related topic

Minimization of process risks and compliance with regulatory requirements as well as internal guidelines

- Timely supervision of business risks

- Ongoing review and development of internal business processes

- Analysis of methods and processes related to efficiency, risk and regulatory requirements

- Immediate and appropriate escalation of potential risks / losses

Essentials Skills and Qualifications:

  1. 4-7 years of professionals experience preferably in the securities settlements and financial accounting
  2. A successfully completed apprenticeship within the finance industry and/or a business degree

  1. A solid background and experience in securities settlements, financial accounting knowledge is profitable.

  1. The ability to rise to many different challenges; analyse a problem and propose solutions, act appropriately, responsibly and mitigate risks at all stages

  1. Ability to handle multiple challenging priorities and assignments while demonstrating risk aware-ness, and ensuring compliance with regulations and policies

  1. Excellent communication skills with very good command of the English and German language would be preferable (spoken and written)

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

- Strong background on process analysis, identification of improvements and implementation thereof

- Experience in developing business requirements for small enhancements

- Skilled working in Excel.
