Business Developer - Bank/Insurance - German Speaker
On behalf of our client, a Security Solutions Provider company in Switzerland, we are looking for a Business Development / Sales Manager (for banks/insurance market) :
- Missions:
· Plan and execute a sales plan including profiling of target accounts, opportunity qualification, proposal creation, negotiation and close of multi-year software license agreements
· Generating business opportunities by identifying customer needs and, based on these, creating and selling new products and services
· Open doors with large service providers: insurances, financial, telecom, energy
· Build and develop long-term relationships with customers
· Learn and maintain good technical knowledge of digital security solutions and associated technologies
- Requirements:
· A degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or Computer Science with a validated
understanding of the IT ecosystem
· A proven track record in developing a strong sales pipeline from the ground up in a technology environment
· The ability to innovate the sales process to close outstanding deals
· Excellent networking skills with an existing network in Switzerland
· To love working in a fast-paced environment,
· To be comfortable with changing priorities and tight deadlines as well as working autonomously
· To be a self-driven can-do type, who enjoys engaging with customers to gain an understanding for their specific business challenges
· A consultative sales style, comfortable engaging at all levels including IT Director, Head of Risk & fraud, COO, Head of Compliance etc
· Knowledge and experience of Swiss financial regulations such as AML (GDPR would be an asset to support this role)
- Swiss market experience
- Fluency in German (native speaker) is a must and excellent English skills (level C1)
