For one of our clients specialized in the pharmaceutical industry we are looking for a Junior Digital Biomarker Data Quality and Operations Analyst with proven experience in SQL and NoSQL data stores.
This is a one year contracting position starting in July with extension possibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Draft new data definitions and support the development of new digital biomarker applications
- Support application development release sprints by data quality checks prior to deployment in clinical studies
- Deep dive investigations of possible root causes for missing data (e.g., adherence, technical issues,..)
- Support project managers and study management teams by providing continuous adherence analysis
- Establish data format specifications and work with cross functional teams to make digital biomarker data analysis ready
- Develop software solutions to automate and document quality checks
Must Haves:
- Very good university degree in engineering, mathematics, statistics, natural science or informatics
- Good knowledge of Python
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL data stores
- Previous working experience with the common Python data analysis stack (e.g. NumPy/SciPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, etc)
- A detail-oriented mind set
- Strong analytical skills combined with conceptual thinking and structured working style
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural team
- Fluent in written and spoken English language
Nice to Haves
- Project-based work experience in the pharmaceutical industry/consulting preferred
- Experience with signal processing
- Strong working knowledge of best coding practices (versioning, TDD, debugging)
- Familiar with the Atlassian suite (Confluence, Jira, BitBucket, Bamboo)
