Java JEE Developer (Guemligen)

Overview of contract

On behalf of our client, one of the leading financial institutions in Zurich, we are looking for a Java JEE Developer for a position in Bern to be part of respective SCRUM team functionality of new Lombard Loan Securitization and Syndication application (LSS).

This is a 12-months contract with possibility of extension.

Also, working from home is possible.

Your skills:

• At least 8 years of experience in software development in an Enterprise context, using Java/JEE, Java Spring Boot, micro services architecture, User Interface and batch processing

• Practical knowledge of DevOps tools and modern platforms, such as Odyssey, GIT, Kubernetes/OpenShift, as well as knowledge of Mainframe environment

• Ability to cover a wider range of tasks in connection with software delivery e.g. Requirements Engineering, End-to-End testing
• Experience in working in a dynamic agile project delivery environment (preferably based on Scrum)
• High Seniority in dealing with difficult technical tasks and in complex environments (multi-platform architecture)

• Working knowledge of front-end technologies like Angular 2+ (preferred), HTML5, React, jQuery or alike - nice to have
• Possibly experience in the Financial Services industry, best case in a (Swiss) Bank - nice to have
• Experience in end-to-end testing in credits domain - nice to have

• Fluent in English

Responsibilities:

• Transform end-to-end solution design into concrete implementation, elaboration and clarification of detail requirements on EPIC and Story level, designing, coding, testing and deploying within modern agile environment with strong emphasize on DevOps practices.
• Contribution focus lies on functionality provided in high quality and with a strategic view on scalability and maintenance
