Human Resources Project Manager

Experis IT Switzerland is currently looking to recruit for the position of HR Manager for a project based in Zürich.

Major responsibilities:

  • Coordinate monitor and drive project activities and their related transition into the human resource operations in collaboration with appropriate internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide professional expertise and support in the design, development and implementation of various HR programs for the Zurich Site
  • Assess and implement directives of Company policy regarding equal employment opportunities, compensation, and employee benefits
  • Consults legal counsel to ensure that policies comply with local Swiss law
  • Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance
  • Writes and delivers presentations to internal Committees regarding human resources policies and practices
  • Analyses wage and salary reports and data to determine competitive compensation plan
  • Manage budget of human resources operations
  • Examples of key projects include but are not limited to:
    • Revision, development, and implementation of HR policies, processes, and benefits
  • Coordination and execution of various HR initiatives for the Zurich Site (1100+ employees), including but not limited to:
    • Training & Development
    • Employee Engagement
    • Global Induction Plan

Your profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant or related field or equivalent HR degree
  • 5+ years of related experience leading HR projects/initiatives
  • Coaching and influencing management
  • The ability to work on own initiative, prioritize workload and solve problems
  • Must be able to speak, read and write in English, other languages a plus
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, etc.)
  • Broad and deep HR knowledge in transactional, employee relations, benefits and policy topics

  • Skilled in developing HR plans/initiatives and aligning people management practices to support business objectives
  • Result oriented and able to develop plans/solutions and to deliver also in challenging circumstances
  • Openness, flexibility and ability to deal with and communicate change effectively
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills along with the ability to make timely and balanced decisions
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills combined with cultural sensitivity

Location: Zürich

Start Date: November 2019

Duration: 1 year contract
