Experis IT Switzerland is urgently looking for a Business Intelligence Contractor to join one of their clients in Zurich, a well-known organization in the financial services sector with a fantastic brand! For this role we are looking for a candidate ideally with experience in a similar role to start as soon as possible.
Description:
In the context of a Business Intelligence platform migration we are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence consultant to execute the following activities:

• Reverse engineer and document Reports and KPI definitions in the source BI platform (SSRS and Tableau)
• Rebuild the reporting layer in the target platform (SAP Business Objects)
• Document definitions and relationships in the source data model from a business and technical perspective
• Design the merge of the source and target Datawarehouse data models
• Contribute actively to the data migration and validation (from MS SQL server to Oracle)
• Contribute actively to ETL migration and validation (from T-SQL & SSIS to PL/SQL & Informatica Powercenter)
• Knowledge transfer and formal handover of the new reporting processes to the production support team before go-live
• Coordinate and communicate proactively with all the stakeholders in the project (project management, BI team, off-shore development team, IT, etc.)

The Profile

• 5+ years of experience implementing Business Intelligence solutions including business requirements analysis, design & data modelling, reporting development.
• Proficiency in SAP Business Objects 4.x and Tableau
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (Oracle and MS SQL server)
• Good knowledge of Microsoft BI stack (SSRS, SSIS)
• Experience in BI and data migration projects, knowledge of the Banking sector is an advantage
• Analytical and structured mindset, solution oriented and excellent problem solving skills
• Proactive personality to drive the BI/Reporting component of the project
• Outstanding communication skills.
