Web Application Developer - React / Node.js

Overview of contract

On behalf of our client, a leading financial institution in Zürich, we are looking for an Web Application Developer to become a member of the Data Controls Team.

Main responsibilities

• design and build a web application to support the detection and protection of confidential data
• design compelling and intuitive user interfaces
• leverage technologies like React and NodeJS to implement the solution
• develop using agile processes, modern CI/CD framework, and state-of-the art cloud environments
• work in a global team of data experts and deliver solutions to be used across the firm.

Your skills:

• At least 8 years of experience in development projects for larger enterprises
• Experience with efficient UI design and development
• Ability and experience with adapting to different UI/UX design and dev platforms
• Experience with single-page application architectures (Node JS, React preferred)
• Proven experience with developing for cloud platforms (MS Azure preferred)
• Experience with working in an agile development environment (Scrum)
• Experience with CI/CD development approaches, continuous development, container based development
• Experience with building and deploying applications in the context of a larger organization, preferably in the financial space
