For one of our clients, specialized in the pharmaceutical area with HQ in Basel, we are looking for a Testing Manager with previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
This is a challenging remote contracting position starting in August until the end of 2021.
Responsibilities:
* Project manage the development and delivery of Solution testing
* Act as Single Point of Contact & give guidance to the test workforce
* Drive & lead stream's specific testing workforce & deliverables
* Closely collaborate with the other roles required for test activities, where applicable across streams
* Track & monitor PT workstream's deliverables for formal- & informal test activities
* Ensure test traceability to user requirements
* Co-author and review Testing deliverables
Test Scope Determination: Test Event Preparation & ensuring readiness
Testing project plan: creates/contributes, reviews & support workstream's adherence
* Drives Stream's/Project's Test Scope Determination.
* Test Automation scope: supports decision making
* Test Data: drives/ensures readiness for the stream/project
* Training of Testing Workforce: provides names of people to be trained, supports training / coaching, liaises with Test Automation Engineers where required
* Test Script creation/refinement: triggers, supports, tracks stream's test resources where required, reviews stream's scripts for completeness & adherence to defined standards
* Stream specific interfaced legacy systems required for testing measures: ensures that these systems will be ready from a technical perspective, as well about data & available resources to support during testing measures
* Reports progress at the leadership levels and manages escalations
Test Execution
Formal Test plan: Creates/Contributes, maintains/updates & tracks progress.
* Screening/Dry Run: ensures stream's readiness for execution as well as issue handling.
* Formal Testing: drive the stream's testing with focus on manual testing in SolMan, and liaise with the Test Automation Coordinator about the automated scripts' execution progress
* Defect Management: Creates, handles/dispatches Defects created during test execution, ensures effective communication, follow up on and efficient resolution. Facilitates work-around identification for defects
* Reports progress at the leadership levels and manages escalations
* Formal Test Report: Creates/contributes & processes further once testing is performed
Must haves:
3+ years' experience in test management
* 2+ years of experience in project management.- Experience with SAP
* Able to rapidly analyze data and identify issues and risks
* Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, to quickly establish rapport, and achieve results with and through others at all levels within the organization.
* Able to lead without direct authority, superior problem solving skills, strong time and self-management skills, outstanding facilitation and presentation skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Experience of working with senior level partners in global work streams within projects in a matrixed environment
* Pharma experience / knowledge of GxP
* Knowledge and experience of project management methodology and the phases of the project lifecycle - APMP or PMI
