Overview of contract
On behalf of our client, a leading financial institution in Zürich, we are looking for an experienced Test Manager for a contract with an initial 6 month timeframe.
The role will sit within the Private Banking area with a team who develop and manage professional investment portfolio construction tools and mobile applications which are used during the advisory process.
Main responsibilities
- Support the Programme Test Manager and Release Manager.
- Test data management.
- Hands on testing at peak times.
Your skills:
- 5-7 years of solid testing experience
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Test Management
- Exposure to a number of roles within testing which could include
- Hands on manual testing
- Defect management / triage
- Test case analysis, creation, prioritization and selection for regression testing
- Test report creation
- Test planning
- A self-starter who can work autonomously with the ability to lead by example, with authority and conviction, and the ability to work seamlessly and collaboratively with senior project team
- Experience in the banking and finance domain is a plus. Experience in the investment advice field as well as a good understanding of financial instruments is a strong plus.
- Exposure to L&P testing. Understanding of the concept, previous organization of and triage of issues is a bonus.
- Test data provisioning, hands on SQL skills required.
