Experis IT Switzerland is currently on the search for an experienced Test Analyst to join one of their clients, a well renowned global consulting organisation. For this temporary engagement, we are seeking an English speaker who is available in a short notice.

Project details: Tester role where a core area also includes data analysis with the requirement to have knowledge in the database area.

Some deliverables/expectations are:

• preparation and execution of test cases for SIT and regression testing which requires close collaboration with the BA and the AD teams
• support of UAT which includes preparation of the test environment, regular feedback meetings with the UAT users
• preparation of test related documents (e.g. test strategy, test plan, test summary reports)
• analysis of data and data feeds, for example as part of an examination of an incident ticket

  • Test cycle closure
• Defect cycle, e.g.
  • Difference of different stages of a defect (new, assigned, open, fixed, pending retest. Retest, test ok, closed, reopened, rejected, deferred)
• Test deliverables, e.g.
  • Test plan
  • Test strategy
  • Test design
  • Test evidence
  • Test summary report
• Static/dynamic testing
• Functional/non-functional/structural/change related testing

Your profile:

• Solid testing background in financial/insurance industry
• Strong database knowledge: Oracle databases, PL/SQL
• Additional IT skills in:
  • Linux/Unix Server
  • Windows Server
  • Jira
  • Control-M (nice-to-have)
  • Java (can be helpful)
  • Scripting knowledge
• ISTQB Certified (foundation level)
• Ambitious and dynamic attitude
• English - Fluent written and spoken
• Previous experience of working in Agile/Scrum environment

Location: Zurich

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 6 months with a high chance of further contract extension
