For this international aviation company in Zurich we are looking for an Accounting Teamlead. You will report to the VP Head Group Accounting and Consolidation,in a high visivbiltiy role. This is an exciting opportunity to lead all accounting activities related to the 7 Swiss Holding companies. You will be responsible for the integrity of the financial statements under Swiss OR & IFRS

Job Responsibilities
* Providing leadership to the accounting team
* Production of the monthly and Year End financial statements for the Holding companies (IFRS and Local GAAP)
* Ensuring that high standards of financial reporting (both for local GAAP and IFRS and Tax reporting) are developed and maintained on an ongoing basis
* Liaising with external auditors and ensuring that the annual audit is professionally dispatched, including resolving any matters that may arise in the course of the audit.
* Directing accounting activities ensuring necessary and appropriate processes, procedures and controls are in place. Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
* Providing information, support and advice to other interested parties such as Taxation, Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Treasury, etc.


Qualifications and Competencies
* Working experience in a similar position in an international business environment is a must.
* Swiss Accounting degree (Eidg. Fachausweis in Finanz- und Rechnungswesen)
* Experience in working with Swiss OR (In-depth knowledge) and IFRS
* Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and SAP (FI/CO/SD) is a must
* Personal authority, integrity and impact
* Ability and willingness to work under demanding deadlines
* Fluency in English and highly proficient in German
