Team lead - Release Management (Banking) - GERMAN required

Experis is currently supporting our client, a Swiss financial services institution, with their search for an experienced team lead for their release management team at their office in the Zurich region. The role has many responsibilities including:

• Managing and coaching a small team tasked with ensuring a flawless introduction of new releases
• Making sure the tests for quarterly, half-year and year-end processing go smoothly and coordinating all activities
• Planning and provision of the test environment in coordination with development, projects, releases and operations
• Key part of the matrix: you are ultimately responsible for the production planning of the entire bank
• Provide needed support for those responsible for applications, systems and projects in the qualification and planning of changes
• Serve as a knowledge expert within the competence center for release, environment and change management

You come with the following background:

• Fluent English + German (absolute must as they have a German-speaking environment), French is an additional language that would strengthen your profile
• University Degree in IT or Business Admin (minimum a Master's)
• 8+ years of experience within change/release management
• Solid IT knowledge and background (infrastructure, architecture)
• Several years of experience dealing with continuous integration/deployment
• Leadership experience is an absolute must as you are going to lead a small team onsite
• ITIL certification as well as 8+ years of Project Management background within IT in the banking sector
