Senior System Engineer

For our client, one of the largest Swiss management consultancies, we are looking for a Senior System Engineer to join their team in Zurich on a permanent basis.

Your role:

• Further development and operation of the services of Windows 10 and Citrix Workplace
• Definition and implementation of guidelines and standards for all end devices, taking into account the available cloud technologies
• Application packaging and distribution on desktop, mobile and virtualized end devices
• Automation and orchestration of processes
• Receipt and processing of faults (2nd and 3rd level)
• Creation and updating of operating manuals, instructions and checklists as well as handing over specific tasks to other teams
• Incident, change and problem management
• Participation in technical customer projects

Your profile

• 5 years of professional experience in a larger and networked IT environment, preferably in client engineering
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10, software packaging and distribution (preferably using Microsoft App-V, SCCM and Intune) as well as PowerShell, VB, batch and WMI scripting
• Good knowledge of the client / server area of Microsoft products (server, SQL, AD, GPO etc.) as well as Citrix technologies
• Certifications in the Microsoft and Citrix environment are an advantage
• Team player with a customer and solution-oriented appearance
• German fluency and good English, French is advantageous
