On behalf of our client, a leading bank in Zürich, we are looking for a Sourcer/ Procurement Specialist with experience in sourcing for Audit, Tax or Financial Consulting. Are you a passionate Sourcer/ Procurement Specialist who is looking for a new and exciting challenge? If yes, then please have a look at the details below:

Main responsibilities:

  • Drive supply-side initiatives and projects related to Audit, Tax & Financial Consulting sourcing categories
  • Responsibility for executing a portfolio of regional and global sourcing projects, supporting management of the Global Audit Fee schedule and contributing to monitor compliance with auditor independence rules of the main regulators
  • Senior Management visibility
  • Execution of successful vendor contract negotiations and develop credibility and operate as a subject matter expert and internal consultant for Audit, Assurance & Tax & Financial Consulting and become the first point of contact for the business partners with respect to vendors and related sourcing
  • Build effective and cooperative alliances externally with key vendors and manage directly those vendor relationships from a commercial perspective

Essentials Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4-7 years of experience in either of the following areas:
  • Sourcing for Audit, Tax or Financial Consulting
  • Audit (internal or external)
  • Contracts Management in a large organization ideally on financial services -accounting knowledge is must to have (P&L, balance sheets etc.)
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills in respect of commercial and contractual terms
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluent English language knowledge, German is a plus

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master in Business Administration and/or Chartered Accountant
  • Deep knowledge of the approaches relating to scoping, pricing models and performance measurements including the setting of service level agreements and associated key performance indicators
  • Strong influencing, collaboration and relationship-building skills both internally with key stakeholders and externally with auditors and financial/tax consultants
  • The ability to ensure all work activities meet our high compliance standards and are performed in line with internal and external guidelines and policies
  • Hands-on experience of advising on successful sourcing strategies and execution of sourcing events including Requests for Information, Requests for Proposals, assessment and selection of vendors
