Experis IT Switzerland is looking for a Java Software Developer for one of our customers, a renowned Swiss company.
Workload: 100%
Start: ASAP
Location: 1x per week on site in Bern or Fribourg / rest of the time remotely possible (only allowed within Switzerland)
Duration: 6+ months
Main Tasks:
- Full stack development with a focus on backend (Java, Spring Boot, GraphQL, jOOQ, PostgreSQL)
- Participate in business analysis (technical focus) and architecture
- Manage the CI/CD pipeline for the applications
- Monitor and operate the application in production
Must-have:
- Strong Java programming experience, including Spring/Spring Boot and Maven
- Strong SQL and relational database design experience, ideally with PostgreSQL
- Baseline software engineering skills: git with PR-based workflow, CI/CD practices
- English is a must-have / German or French not required for this position
- Experience with containers (We use Docker / other containers also okay) for application packaging (at least 1 year of experience)
Nice to have:
- Experience with GraphQL
- Experience with monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana
- Experience with Kafka and stream processing
- Experience with Kubernetes
