On behalf of our client, a global pharmaceutical company based in Solothurn, Switzerland, we are looking for a Senior Process Engineer, who is eager to join an international and dynamic team.

Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
Location: Solothurn, Switzerland
Sector: Pharmaceuticals
Languages: Fluency in English and ideally also German and / or Italian.
Responsibilities:
- Development and execution of test plans and protocols for FAT, SAT, commissioning qualification and validation
- Overseeing of equipment and system mechanical completion
- Providing process engineering input (design, development, testing, etc.)
- Review and approve vendor submittals, including system piping layouts, general arrangements, etc.
- Coordination with various departments and stakeholders
- Preparation of status updates for reporting purposes (progress, issue, safety, quality, etc.)
- Implementation of internal processes, policies and procedures
Background:
- BA and or MA in a related academic field (Biochemistry or Mechanical Engineering ideally)
- 5-10+ years of experience in engineering, construction, commissioning, and validation of GMP
- Experience providing technical support for GMP facilities (involving cell structure, purification and biopharmaceutical processing of equipment and clean utilities)
- Personality: communicative, analytical, highly motivated
