Senior Process Engineer

On behalf of our client, a global pharmaceutical company based in Solothurn, Switzerland, we are looking for a Senior Process Engineer, who is eager to join an international and dynamic team.

Start date: ASAP

Duration: 6 months

Location: Solothurn, Switzerland

Sector: Pharmaceuticals

Languages: English. Fluency in German, French and/or Italian is strongly desired.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the design development, procurement, factory acceptance testing, installation, commissioning, qualification and validation of new process systems and equipment
• Development of plans, writing of protocols (FAT and SAT), and field execution
• Oversight: equipment inspection, factory acceptance testing, site acceptance testing, field and safety walk-downs, reviewing and approval of turnover packages (TOP)
• Process engineering: design development, creation of specifications (process piping & instruments diagrams), datasheets, etc.
• Coordination with internal departments, as well as with other stakeholders and parties
• Adherence to Global Engineering, Quality, as well as Environmental and Safety procedures
• Implementation of internal policies and status updates

Background:

• BSc and/or MSc in a related field
• 7+ years of experience working with GMP in Engineering / Construction / Commissioning / Validation within a pharmaceutical and/or biotech manufacturing environment
• Ability to provide technical Engineering support for GMP facilities involving cell culture, purification and biopharmaceutical processing equipment and clean utilities
• Personality: communicative, analytical, motivated, team-orientated
