On behalf of our client, a leading Swiss financial provider, we are looking for Senior Site Reliability Engineer. You will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining the server/container hosting infrastructure as well as rebuilding and maintaining the OS deployment automation.
Key Responsibilities:

• Build/maintain the new virtualization platform including capacity/performance monitoring, lifecycle management and emergency response
• Maintain the hyperconverged infrastructure's performance and availability, as well as the RedHat Openshift-based container platform's performance and availability and containerize platform services.
• As a member of the Platform Services team, you will be taking part in stand-by duty as well as legacy system support and phaseout
• With ansible, rebuild the RHEL OS provisioning procedure and combine it with other systems such as Service Now)
• Utilize automation and software to tackle problems that were previously solved manually
• Document the process and enable colleagues to apply it to additional situations (windows-based deployments, application deployments)

Profile :

• 5 years of experience in server administration, such as RHEL
• Experience in configuration management / automation
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Python and at least one automation framework such as ansible, chef, puppet
• Experience with OpenShift / Kubernetes and application containerisation will be considered a plus
• You are a team player and enjoy collaborative workflows
• You are an excellent transparent communicator and are at ease in communicating with all types of stakeholders
• You are business fluent in English and German will be of advantage
