Our client is a leader in digital transformation & EU leader offering solutions in cloud, cybersecurity, big data and high performance computing. They are looking for an experienced Java Engineer to strengthen their team in Zurich or Basel.

Your tasks:

• Development of complex software applications with the latest technologies
• Implementation of sophisticated development projects in a dynamic team with extensive expert knowledge
• Close cooperation with project management, software architects, product owners, customers and other software engineers.
• Cooperation on software architectures for new projects or architectural extensions on existing projects.

Your profile:

• You have a successful university degree (FH, Uni, ETH, HF) in computer science
• Several years of professional experience as a software engineer with Java technologies
• Sound knowledge in the implementation of applications and web service interfaces with Java, JavaEE and Spring
• Knowledge and experience as a senior Java software engineer in the field of microservice architectures with Spring Boot and / or modern web architectures with the use of Angular is an advantage
• Excellent know-how regarding professional software development processes
• Analytical and structured way of working with pronounced customer orientation and high quality awareness
• Motivated and initiative team player
• Since the projects are located in a sensitive environment we require a valis Swiss Permit C or a person resident for at least 5 years in Switzerland
• Very good knowledge of German as a mother tongue level and good knowledge of spoken and written English, French is an advantage
