Senior Cisco Engineer

My client is a professional service company and one of the world's largest auditing firms. We are currently looking for a highly motivated candidate ready for an exciting position at their Zürich office.

We are currently looking for a Senior Cisco Engineer:

Tasks Include:

• You will be responsible for the administration and support of communication networks and services such as Nexus 7 and 5K, ASA and IPT
• Developing future-oriented solutions in a cloud-oriented environment will be an integral part of the job
• You will have to create and edit network designs based on system / service requirements and defined standards
• You will maintain network facilities and ensure their performance and availability requirements from the current Cisco system
• The installation, configuration and documentation of network components

Profile:

• You must bring a minimum of 3 years' experience working with different technologies, concept and architectures
• You should have proven work experience in handling network monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as SMP, Wireshark and PRTG
• You should be solution oriented, communicative and experienced in dealing with globally distributed data centres and cloud environments
• You should be interested in cloud-based network services based on Azure
• Minimum CCNP certified, CCIE or equivalent knowledge is beneficial
• Fluency in English and German is a must
