For this permanent assignment based in Zurich, we are in search of an English-speaking QT & C++ Software Engineer for a dynamic, fast-growing company with many possibilities for further development.
Overview:
Responsibility for software products by:
- Implementing design choices to keep high quality and maintainability
- Owning part of the software system
- Extending the backend API
- Supporting the integration of new features
- Performing bug triage and fixing bugs
Support the UI/UX system by:
- Collaborate with the operators for feedback on UI/UX improvements
- Perform ticket and bug triage and decide what feature is needed by when
- Further improve current UI/UX environment towards the goal of having an easy to use and reliable end-to-end system
- Operator training upon new software releases
Required key skills:
- Sc. / M.Sc. in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field
- Proficient in C++ (3 years) and good software development skills
- Experience in programming with Qt / QML
- Experience in maintaining and refactoring large software products is a plus
- Knowledge of modern software development processes including agile methodologies, testing, and continuous integration
- Good problem solving and communication skills
