MOBILE TECHNICAL ENGINEER (APP GALLERY)

Our client is a leading global tecnology company and they are looking for a Mobile Technical Engineer (App Gallery) to support their Consumer Business Group. This business unit provides comprehensive support to developers in app-development, testing, promotion, and monetization. The technical engineer will help developers to develop their Apps with the company IDE, API and give them technical support.

Responsibilities

• Test the product quality validation test to validate the quality of terminal products including mobile and fixed line devices in local carrier networks.
• Setup and execute various test cases according to certain device type, including manual and automated tests.
• Be responsible for rating the quality of the device based on the test results and give recommendation for further processing of internal QA.
• Representing and promoting Mobile Services including core and new technologies in formal and informal industry gatherings, whether on live events, on media or on social platforms
• Supporting business partners in developing, deploying and maintain applications in their App Gallery
• Working with the R&D team to develop app-developer oriented technical tutorials/documents and sample code, as well as to improve products and services, such as IDE, API
• Liaise and communicate with the product development center at regional and global level

Your Profile

• Completed study with diploma degree in computer science, information technology or related directions
• In-depth experience with Android software development lifecycle is preferred
• Programming skills in Javascript or similar
• Excellent troubleshooting skills, able to dive into complex code/infrastructures, and find the root cause
• Software development skills, you are able to analysis and resolve development and deployment issues, and provide seamless support to app-developers
• Highly professional with the ability to deliver quality work under pressure and on tight schedules
• High flexibility and able to manage multiple tasks, being target oriented and able to work under pressure
• Ability to work in a culturally diverse, high paced organization
• Business fluent English in oral and written is mandatory. Fluent Germen is strongly considered as advantage.
