System Engineer - Security and Internet technologies

On behalf of our client, a leading financial institution in Zürich, we are looking for a System Engineer to join an existing team to provide integration services for internet facing applications.
Main responsibilities
- Provide integration services for the internet facing application landscape as part of the internal project team.
- Engineering vendor products for reverse proxies, web application firewalls, authentication services, etc.
- Analysing outages and defective states, initiate and monitor measures to remedy them (3rd level support)
- Cooperate closely with Project Manager, Software Architect and 2nd Level Support
Your skills:
- A minimum of 4 years working as a Linux System Engineer
- Knowledge of Security technologies
- Experience of working in a large, complex enterprise environment, ideally financial services.
- Strong Analytical and Problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of web technologies (Tomcat/Apache, Reverse Proxy, Web Application Firewall, etc.) would be highly advantageous
