Lead System Engineer - Cloud development

On behalf of our client, a leading financial institution in Zürich, we are looking for a Lead Engineer who will design and lead a team within the Cloud Development team.
Main responsibilities
- Working as a Senior/Lead Engineer as a core member of the overall Cloud Development team to realize new cloud capabilities in collaboration with global colleagues
- Specify, develop and document an agreed and aligned pipeline automation based on different orchestrators
- Create a corresponding comprehensive implementation plan in an iterative way with sprints and demos to the customers at the end of a sprint.
- Lead, drive, oversee and coordinate execution of the implementation work
- Work with the various technology specialists to ensure team effectiveness and accelerated learning
Your skills:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience gained within infrastructure and processes and how they are currently applied on-premises in all lines of busines
- Strong Network DNS knowledge
- API knowledge and how to design and lead it.
- Very strong automation and orchestration abilities with advanced knowledge of Python
- Applied cloud concepts with ideally Kubernetes know how
- Enterprise cloud computing experience and understanding, ideally in Microsoft.
- Experience in process development and mapping
- Ability to work independently, highly organized and able to work in a quickly changing and fast paced environment
